No Decission on Bray 2022 Airshow yet

A final decision has yet to be made about whether or not the Bray air display will take place this year.

The hugely popular event did not take place over the last two years due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Event organisers made a short announcement on their social media platforms in July 2021 confirming that the event would not go ahead, saying “See you all in 2022”.

It’s understood that the Bray air display committee are expected meet in the coming weeks to decide if the show can go ahead this year.

Rescue 116 staged a fly-past in Bray on July 26 2020, organised by the Irish Coast Guard and the organisers of the air display, as a tribute to healthcare workers who have done so much during the Covid-19 pandemic.

120,000 people attended the Bray air display over the course of two days in 2019.

The annual event regularly draws huge crowds to Bray to enjoy the spectacular aviation displays and other attractions on Bray seafront.

The air display regularly includes flights from historic planes and demonstrations.
