T-28 Trojan confirmed for Portrush

This afternoon Airwaves Portrush confirmed that the North American T-28 Trojan will be returning to Portrush on BOTH days (3rd and 4th September)

The T28 last displayed at Portrush in 2006 and was a military trainer aircraft used by the US Air Force, taking its first flight back in 1949 and took it’s last training flight in 1984 and was used in the Vietnam war.

Since then multiple private owners have kept the T28 flying throughout the world.

We look forward to seeing it back in the Skies of Portrush 🙂
