The RAF King Air Display makes their debut at Portrush in their only Northern Ireland display in the 2016 airshow season. The King Air Display uses a Beech King Air B200 Aircraft which first entered RAF service in 2004. It is used as an advanced, multi-engine pilot trainer by No 45(R) Squadron.This is the first display confirmation for Portrush and they will fly on both days of the airshow (3rd-4th September 2016)
The Portrush organizers had their first planning meeting yesterday (11/2/16 ) and met with the Royal Navy, Royal Air Force and the Army. They reported on their Twitter that there was ‘Good progress on ground exhibitions’
Expect more Portrush announcements ‘in the next few weeks’.
